While it is impossible to stop the passage of time, there are ways that you can prevent it from taking its toll on your appearance and your health without having to go through expensive, and painful, operations, injections and plastic surgery.

I confess to having a built in prejudice against all dietary supplements, and fundamentally have believed that if you eat a healthy diet, that should be enough nourishment to the body. So until relatively recently, I even did not take supplemental D3, Calcium, or fish oil as recommended by my primary care physician. That being said, my husband in June 2009 was diagnosed with a terminal form of brain cancer, Glioblastoma Stage 4 [the kind that took Senator Edward Kennedy’s life]. Now, with my husband's life now assuredly dramatically shortened, the idea of facing the diseases of aging alone seemed even less appetizing. I have already suffered from back problems associated with a herniated disc and sciatica 2 years ago, and osteoarthritis sometimes has me as stiff as a board and creak across the room to my sauna which incidentally gives me a great deal of relief.
This brings me to Protandim. I was introduced to it by a friend over dinner, who said that I might be interested in its powerful anti-oxidative properties, and that its claims were actually based in science and clinical studies. Much to my surprise, I reflected that I had been feeling unusually invigorated at work, and my brain seemed to be working so much faster and with better concentration, even during massive July heat waves, which usually has me feel very sluggish.
Also I had been sleeping better. It wasn't that I was sleeping longer, but I was feeling better rested in the mornings. Some colleagues at work had noticed how productive I had been in the last few weeks. So then I watched and waited, was my improvement in my well being just a temporary random event, or was it here to stay? I was thrilled over the next month to find that this new found alertness, concentration and rested feeling was here to stay.
As I was driving one day I said to myself, how would I even begin to explain this to someone else- I just felt "normal" again. Then I finally figured out that "normal" to me was how my well being felt 5 or 10 years ago before I noticed the effects of the aging process creeping up. In the last couple of weeks, I have also noticed my arthritis has suddenly improved dramatically for no apparent reason, and I am walking around upright and with a spring in my step.

After 4 long years searching for answers, in January our daughter Miranda was diagnosed with MERRF (Myoclonus Epilepsy with Ragged-Red Fibers), an extremely rare... progressive and degenerative genetic mitochondrial disorder. Mitochondria are the cell structures that process all the energy or the "powerhouse" of our bodies. The mutation causes dysfunction of the brain and muscles.
The distinguishing feature in MERRF is myoclonus, consisting of sudden, brief, jerking spasms that can affect the arms and legs or the entire body. She was on a ventilator off and on for 3 weeks (celebrating Christmas and her birthday during that time). A tracheotomy and feeding tube were inserted as a life saving procedure on January 13th.

Protandim is not rated as a stand-alone protocol for cancer, however, Protandim is strongly recommended as an adjunct protocol for any cancer patient!! Hi, my name is Sandra, and I am 43. I have two slipped disk in my lower back that I have been dealing with for 25yrs. I have been dealing with the pain of fibromyalgia for about 20yrs. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at the age of 35. I have been dealing with migraines for 15yrs that put me in bed for days. I have never, in the 20 years of practice, commented this much on a product. I personally have noticed the following. A foot injury that would not clear up, finally healed, and I can walk again.
I have reduced pain in my neck which has hurt for 20 years. Its not perfect but hey - I will take what I can get. It flares a little if I over use it. I had in recent years started having bad allergy problems and In Feb 2010, I had three major sinus infections, was on three sets of antibiotics, and even had staph infection.
